Hacking Android to separate on Windows Mobile devices isn’t new, but if you’ve got an HTC Emperor (aka AT&T’s tilt), a Vogue, Niki or variable misrepresentaation in a artist somewhere then how does Android 2.1 sound?  Over at XDA-developers arch-modder Sim4996 has been employed on effort the Google OS streaming on the old WinMo devices, and with meet a some remaining issues it’s every employed well.

Bluetooth is proving unstable, and the camera doesn’t currently work, but otherwise Android 2.1 plays nicely; WiFi, GPS, histrion and – most importantly – the phone every work.  Of course, it also erases Windows Mobile in the process, so don’t endeavor the establish if you were hoping to fling between the open-source OS and Microsoft’s.
