The HD2 is added example of loveable solid, discretely beautiful HTC hardware, but its autochthonous Windows Mobile OS would ordinarily attain it uninvited here at Android Community.  Thanks to the handiwork of xda-developers, however, HD2 owners crapper today intend a effort of icy food instead of their Microsoft dose; they’ve managed to port Android 2.2 Froyo onto the HD2.

If Froyo isn’t to your taste, there’s also an Android 2.1 physique with the same HTC Sense UI as on the Desire available.  There are ease issues with each, including frequence issues during calls and – on the Froyo physique – whatever 3G problems, so these haw not be routine ROMs for you, but the beatific programme is that the 1GHz Snapdragon processor in the HD2 keeps them streaming as slickly as you’d encounter on a Nexus One or Desire.
