Vodafone UK hit place the HTC Magic up for pre-order, with the touchscreen Android smartphone acquirable from liberated depending on contract.  Launched backwards at Mobile World legislature in February, the Magic is HTC’s ordinal Android figure after the T-Mobile G1 (aka the HTC Dream).

According to Vodafone, the prototypal deliveries of the Android phone should come on May 5th.  The Magic had been expected to start on May 1st, itself a retard from the originally slated April release.  Monthly contracts costing £35 ($51) ascending (over 18 months) intend a liberated Magic; the cheapest lessen is £15 ($22), with the phone then priced at £293.62 ($428).
